    Dr. Brijmohan Nayyar is a highly experienced Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist with more than 23 years of post MD and DNB experience in the field of anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, intensive care, and pain management. He is presently serving as Senior Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at Gupta Hospital & Research Centre, Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir.

    Dr. Nayyar completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Jammu, followed by MD in Anaesthesiology from the prestigious Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi, affiliated with the University of Delhi. He further earned the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Anaesthesiology.

    Over the course of his distinguished career, he has worked with several renowned institutions in India and abroad, including AIIMS New Delhi, Primus Super Speciality Hospital New Delhi, Mata Chanan Devi Hospital New Delhi, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi, and Royal Hospital Muscat, Oman under the Ministry of Health, Oman.

    Dr. Nayyar possesses extensive expertise in administering anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedics, urology, oncology, paediatric surgery, neuro-anaesthesia, bariatric surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, and minimally invasive procedures. He also has vast experience in critical care management, ICU procedures, trauma care, perioperative monitoring, and pain management.

    During his tenure at AIIMS New Delhi and other tertiary care centres, he actively participated in teaching and training postgraduate students, junior doctors, and paramedical staff in anaesthesiology and critical care.

    Dr. Nayyar has contributed to academic research and publications in reputed medical journals, with special interest in perioperative management, difficult anaesthesia cases, obesity-related anaesthesia, and pulmonary hypertension management.

    He has attended numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and CME programmes in anaesthesia and critical care, including the ASA Annual Meeting, San Francisco, USA, and several advanced workshops on paediatric anaesthesia, ICU procedures, regional anaesthesia, and pain medicine.
